The Radeon Instinct MI210 is a professional graphics card by AMD, launched in December 2021. Built on the 6 nm process, and based on the Aldebaran graphics processor, in its Aldebaran variant, the card does not support DirectX. Since Radeon Instinct MI210 does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. The Aldebaran graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 724 mm² and 58,200 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked Radeon Instinct MI250X, which uses the same GPU but has all 14080 shaders enabled, AMD has disabled some shading units on the Radeon Instinct MI210 to reach the product's target shader count. It features 6656 shading units, 416 texture mapping units, and 0 ROPs. AMD has paired 64 GB HBM2e memory with the Radeon Instinct MI210, which are connected using a 4096-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1000 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1700 MHz, memory is running at 1600 MHz.
