Performance Rating
The GeForce RTX 5070 SUPER is a graphics card by NVIDIA, launched in 2025. Built on the 5 nm process, and based on the GB205 graphics processor, in its GB205-400-A1 variant, the card supports DirectX 12 Ultimate. This ensures that all modern games will run on GeForce RTX 5070 SUPER. Additionally, the DirectX 12 Ultimate capability guarantees support for hardware-raytracing, variable-rate shading and more, in upcoming video games. The GB205 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 263 mm² and 31,100 million transistors. It features 6400 shading units, 200 texture mapping units, and 80 ROPs. Also included are 200 tensor cores which help improve the speed of machine learning applications. The card also has 50 raytracing acceleration cores. NVIDIA has paired 18 GB GDDR7 memory with the GeForce RTX 5070 SUPER, which are connected using a 192-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 2325 MHz, which can be boosted up to 2512 MHz, memory is running at 1750 MHz (28 Gbps effective).
